On Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, over 30 people gathered in a secret desert location to commemorate the end of analog television broadcasting. About 30 picture tube-style televisions and a couple of computer monitors were creatively destroyed in a somewhat spectacular fashion. Then it was all swept into piles, loaded into trucks, and hauled to the dump.
